Oral GLP-1 therapy changes how you experience eating. Adjusting meal timing and food choices makes the therapy work better and reduces side effects. Here's practical guidance for the eating pattern that fits.

Working With Slowed Gastric Emptying

GLP-1 medications slow how quickly food leaves your stomach. This creates the fullness sensation that helps with weight loss, but it also means eating too much or eating too quickly produces discomfort. Adjusting your meal pattern to work with this reality is the core practical shift.

Meal Size

What to Eat
