The first 30 days on oral GLP-1 therapy set the pattern for how well you'll do longer-term. Knowing what to expect — and what's normal versus what warrants a call to your prescriber — makes the difference. Here's the honest guide.

Week 1: The Setup Week

Your first week is mostly about establishing routine. If you're on Wegovy pill or Rybelsus, that means finding a consistent morning time that fits an empty-stomach protocol — waking up, taking the pill with a small amount of water, waiting 30 minutes before coffee or breakfast.
